Coaching Style:

My coaching style leans heavily on competition training. As a kid I would train at least 4 nights a week with a mix of technique classes and randori classes. I have competed in 100's of competitions all over Europe. I have represented England on multiple occasions, fighting in The French International nationals where I took Gold twice. I have also represented England in Holland, Germany and Belgium placing in the top 3 in all competitions. I have trained with BJA and BJC national squads as a Junior from aged 14 to 18.

I like think outside of the standard methods for teaching Judo. This includes coaching throws from new non-traditional grips and entry points. I enjoy to push our students to achieve their goals at all levels. I love to share my knowledge and experience with our junior students to improve their abilities and confidence

Why I Like Judo:

I original started Judo as a kid at aged 6. My parents are the reason for my success in the sport of Judo. The older I got the more confidence and enjoyment I gained. This allowed me to see the fitness and health benefits of Judo. It also allowed me to make life long friends and build on a community of Judo.

An interesting fact for me : is that I'm a right-handed person, but in Judo I primarily use my Left. As kid my sensi pushed me to fight left knowing the advantages I would have later in life.
